Opportunity lost

This week, I was presented with a new opportunity at work.

Taking this position would’ve meant a more humane start time, keep my same days off, and receive a nominal raise. For the first time in over 25 years, I wouldn’t have to share a desk. Best of all, I would get to help my coworkers.
