Good Morning!
Today we’re listening to “Hello Hello” by Fickle Friends
It’s Friday, so we’re again checking out something a little lighter. First formed in 2013, Fickle Friends is a Brighton, U.K.-based band. “Hello Hello” is off of their 2018 debut record, “You Are Someone Else.” If the cover art seems familiar, that may be because it was designed by Mat Maitland, who’s worked with everyone from Basement Jaxx to Taylor Swift and back again. The record itself peaked at no. 9 on the UK charts.
More:
For those familiar with Fickle Friends’ singles, they’ll notice the production has been amped up. “Say No More” is mixed so well with Shiner’s vocals coming through over a crisp bass line and breathing tons of new life into the song. “Hello Hello”, has a deeper synth that adds an even more infectious sound to one of the album’s catchiest tracks. Things pop and come through crystal clear, everything sounds so good.
