There wasn’t much music in Puerto Vallarta.

One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to try and hear local radio. Some of my sharpest memories of time overseas are soundtracked by whatever was blaring through the speakers at the time- whether that was while barreling through the narrow streets of Valetta in a taxi or on a bus zig-zagging through Costa Rica’s hills at night.

I’ve always been fascinated by hearing what the locals play/have to say (even if I can’t understand a word).

Not this time, though.
