For The Record- 16. September. 2023
Could we be having the time of our lives now?
Welcome to another edition of For The Record, a good old-fashioned link drop and benefit for paid supporters of On Repeat. If you’d like to join us, we’d be thrilled to have you!
As a reminder, On Repeat is 100% reader-funded. As always, there are 7-day trials for anyone looking to test the waters.
This week, we’ve got news on New Order, N’Sync, Mitski, and Mickey Dolenz.
All of that and a LOT more (like, a lot lot).
Let’s get right into it!
As most of you know, I work for an airline in real life. I’ve spent most of my adult life at one airport or another. But I’ve been fascinated by planes for as long as I can remember. I’m truly lucky to have forged a career out of it.
Every once in a while, aviation and music combine to create my favorite type of Venn diagram. That happened this past week as a petition was started to rename the Key West, Florida airport after Jimmy Buffett. Not only did the singer’s career really take off once he moved to the Keys, but he was also a pilot and owner of several aircraft.
Further, the airport is undergoing extensive remodeling, so now’s as good of time as any to incorporate some new rebranding.
I just hope they leave this up on the terminal:
