I just thrifted Belly's Star on CD yesterday as I work towards picking up all of those discs I gave away 10-plus years ago. Just as amazing as I remember and well worth the $2.
So much I do not know at all! You've extended my list of must listen 2022 well into 2023! I heartily agree with Afghan Whigs which blew me away. Another band that goes way back --almost as far of Afghan -- that put out a great record this year is Archers of Loaf.

If you like Belly, you’ll really dig Loyal Seas. There’s a lot of similarities there (besides Donelly, of course).

Yes! “Reason In Decline” made a strong case for making this list. I reviewed it no too long ago. I was very happy to see them back!
