Lots of great stuff here, Kevin! I've been meaning to get to the Cloud Nothings (I saw them ten years ago in a small club with Japandroids and it's definitely on my top-10 live shows llist). You turned me on to Brothertiger a couple years ago and I have been a fan ever since, so will def check that out. Been playing the Laetitia Sadler album and it's really a grower that might make my top albums list by year's end. And all the rest (minus Pearl Jam: sorry - they're my kryptonite), I'll add to the list!
Excellent, I had missed that new Laetitia Sadier! I really enjoyed hearing her guest spot on last year's fantastic album from Pearl & The Oysters, "Coast to Coast" (which sounded to my ears a bit like if Stereolab & Steely Dan got stuck together on a beach somewhere and just rolled with it).
For me, it's Ilithios. But, overall this is a really great 2024 new release list. I could not agree more about the quality releases so far this year. I already have over 50 albums on my "2024 Best" Spotify playlist, and "Every Bird Ever" is the latest add . . . an easy call. Thanks.

Seriously, there is plenty here that I need to either get to (Cloud Nothings), dig into more (Maggie Rogers), or give a try (many of these). And yes, Dark Matter is a damn good PJ album.
