I laughed after seeing Bob Dylan on the list of artists to have on the radar in the middle of mostly new or less known artists. Just shows how timeless his music is!
I can't remember what I picked for remastered/live album, but was Stop Making Sense remastered on album as well as the film? I was unaware of that. I thought it was just the movie but it 'makes sense' that it would be available on audio formats too.
Fantastic lists. Def some new artists for me to explore. For you readers who like jangle-rock (think Byrds, REM, Teenage Fanclub, et al.), check out Ian M Bailey & Thomas Walsh (Pugwash). Both released excellent albums in 2023.
Always interesting to see what grabs people. I'm still convinced the Wilco is one of their lesser albums and the competition was too great to fit it in my Top 25. As for the old stuff, pretty sure I was a Fragments voter...but Tim is def in my Top 5 reissues (spoiler, as who knows when I'll get to that list)!
I have not given that Yo La Tengo track a listen yet, and I am glad I did now! It’s excellent!

Thanks for sharing the poll results!
Dylan is SO underrated!!
This corwd has a good sense of humor. :)
As for Stop Making Sense, it was! It was released right around the same time as the movie and sounds great.

Right on! Thanks for getting those on my radar!
Awesome playlist, thanks for gathering the input. In hind sight, I should have stuffed the ballot with Miter songs...next year. hahaha.
I'll send you the link. Vote early, vote often! lol.

For me, Summerteeth set the bar incredibly high, and for better or worse, it's what I measure every other album against.
No Billy Strings?
Not this time...
