Two semi-overlooked records from two great artists. The Coup is so awesome. Anytime I see them mentioned I gotta immediately throw them on. I didn’t give this album as much time as some of their others, but listening now, it’s as great as anything else on their catalogue.
You gotta go with The Coup. Andrew Bird is a singular talent, who made whistling cool again, but I’ll take Boots over loafers any day.
He’s so underrated! I touch on it a bit, but I’m always surprised he doesn’t show up more in any of the usual “GOAT” discussions.

Agreed! Andrew Bird was new to me, but The Coup are so underrated/overlooked.
