Just took a listen to this on Bandcamp, pleasant enough (which is a damning assessment!) but it's no 'Crash'. I note they've sold out 625 vinyl copies though, so somebody's still listening.
It did however send me scurrying to my record collection, as I had a feeling I might have the first album on vinyl, and there, between The Pretenders and Propaganda (which could almost be a review!), was a copy of 'Lovely'.
I haven't the slightest recollection what any of the other 15 tracks sound like, but I'll try to give it a spin later to find out.
A blast from the past Kevin.

I didn't have it on vinyl, but I'm pretty sure I owned it on CD? Not sure what became of it, though...
The 60's connection is spot on. They did an entire covers album of "songs by obscure, female-fronted groups from the sixties" back in 2012.

I really like the B-side on this one too. Fingers crossed for another full length from them soon.
Fingers crossed!
Oh, wow, this is like running into a childhood best friend in the airport after twenty-two years of silence.
I love this comparison!
Lordy, lordy, lordy, I had forgotten ALL about "Crash." Well done. I love that tune!
I had forgotten about it too! It's also proved to be quite the earworm over the last several days.
