Happy Friday! Today we’re spinning “Into You Like a train” by The Psychedelic Furs.
lead singer Richard Butler doesn’t waste a lot of time (or lyrics) getting to the point, so I won’t either; Into You is primal and transactional. Manic, swirling, and alive all at once, it comes at you like, well, a train.
This is Richard Butler at his best. On a side note, Jawbreaker covered this and did well by it. That’s no easy feat.
You can check it out here. Let me know which version you prefer.

Good band! They played at my school in the spring of '89 and put on an excellent show. Distinctive sound and some memorable tunes
I’ve always been a fan of “Love My Way”. I’m putting this on the playlist too.
