This book sounds right up my alley. I turned 20 in 1991 and that music meant so much to me that fall. I still regret not going to see Pearl Jam at Penn State before they blew up big. I knew who they were thanks to the initial Temple of the Dog release, but didn't know the other bands on the bill - Smashing Pumpkins and RHCP. Ah, regrets. It's also the year where I started struggling with depression, so I'm sure I will recognize a lot of myself in the book. Happily, it's also when my wife and I started dating - we celebrate 32 years of marriage tomorrow.

Thanks for highlighting this project!

Sounds fascinating, especially how he intertwined his personal story with what was happening musically at the time. No easy feat and I understand why it spent several years in the making. So glad it's finally seeing the light of day!

This was fantastic! Thank you Kevin and Rob for this! I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve had this book since it came out, but have been so busy! I’m definitely going to set aside time to finally read it. The more I’ve heard about it, the more I know I’m going to absolutely love it.

I'd love to be in the drawing! Early 90s Gen X music was magical. Great interview and congrats on the book!
