Brinsley Schwarz seemed to pop up with many of the British music icons from the mid 70's to mid 80's. Nick Low, the band named "Brinsley Schwarz", Rockpile, Elvis Costello. It's a who's who list through that New Wave period in British rock. I loved each and every one of them and I deeply appreciate Brinsley Schwarz for his part in that bit of history, and I'm glad to hear that it's not over.
Has a good energy. The mobile phone is a topic that features a fair bit in my Substacks. Imagine showing someone in the 70s what we do now. I reckon we will see almost as much change again in the next 10 years.
Epic, thanks. Just added it to my Monster Mash playlist
Right on! I'm happy to hear it.

I started to start writing a bit about Rockpile and Dave Edmunds, and quickly realized that was going to be a longer-form piece for another day.

I'm sure we will! Just think back even 5 years; the speed of change & advancement has been huge.
Cool song. A basic blues boogie groove, but underlay with 70 plus years of wisdom and a touch of curmudgeonliness.
Will there be an interview segment?
Working on it! :)
