Thanks for the nudge, Kevin! I'm listening to this right now.

BTW, next up is gonna be my first time checking out "Tower of Power." Russ (one of our black belts who is also a very talented drummer in his own right) recommended it - when he talks music, I listen!

I love the passion behind the keys. Knowing the ins and outs of the stories behind records is always fascinating stuff. I remember your review of this album, and it feels as fresh as when I first read it.

This album holds a special place in my teenage heart. I was a junior in high school when this was released, just two short years after Substance, when I saw New Order play at Red Rocks. But this album is indelibly linked to a date with a girl whose name was Sunin (like the hair lighting spray). We walked around Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, along the creek path, and eventually ended up with us snogging on a bench near the antique train engine that used to be on display at the nearby park. The day was overcast with a slight drizzle, and yet it ended up being an amazing day with that young lady. The soundtrack to it all was Technique, and the last two tracks, Vanishing Point and Dream Attack, still stir up 36-year-old memories of that day.
