CONGRATULATIONS! You've created a killer publication and you've been part of building a magnificent music community. I can't wait to see what you do leading up to year five and beyond. GET IT!
I'm really excited to have found you here. I really look up to you. I didn't realize that you had different names over the years! Also your logo is amazing.
Thank you for the kind words! I'm really happy you're here. Yep, 3 names & 3 different logos while I figured out what I truly wanted this place to be. All credit to Jon Wilcox for the current one. he took my ramblings and scribbles and somehow made exactly what i was looking for.
Loved the quote from Mark Nash - so accurate!! I’m so glad I found this community and have been led to so many others through you! I look forward to reading your posts, and so enjoy the comment section! Thank you for this space to connect!
Congratulations on three years. If this was (were? I still don’t know) a 12-step group, I’d get you a coin III (roman numeral three.) And that’s how we work and grow, one day at a time. A pleasure working in the next office with you these last three years, Kevin!
Congrats on 3 years, Kevin! In my humble opinion, this is the best music discovery and appreciation newsletter/community on the internet and therefore the universe!
Congrats, Kevin!! You've created such a terrific publication and community. I think I said not long after joining -- the community and the civil, intelligent discussions remind me of the best days of a few listservs I was on (and helped found in two cases) from the mid-90s until social media helped kill them off in the late 2000s. That, and the early blog era, were the peaks of internet culture for me and it's been a long downhill slog since. Thanks for building an engaging throwback space!
And thanks for supporting independent artists like me. Promoting a record these days is overwhelming and depressing. I really appreciate your support.
What works: all of it. Suggestions: none at the moment, I know to not be shy if I have ideas. Re: a survey, hit me up if you need help -- that's part of my job.
Thank you, Dave! That web 1.0 vibe (?) was something I really missed and struggled to find--especially the sort of convivial spirit that most of those forums had.
As for the record, it's awesome- and I'm not just saying that to be nice. I'm excited for more people to hear it!
As for surveys? Don't be surprised if I show up with a few questions (no pun intended).
I’ve not been here that long but I can absolutely say you’ve given me something I didn’t know I needed. I actively look forward to the Monday music share and the weekend For The Record post, as well as the current top 100 countdown. This is a wonderful community and I am so happy to be a part of it.
Thank you, Lou! I love that both of those are a highliught for you. I waited for the longest time before starting those Monday discussions- I thought i'd be hosting a prty no one showed up to. I couldn't have been more wrong, and couldn't be happoer about it.
Happy 3rd Birthday!
Thank you!

Joyeux anniversaire !
Merci, mon ami!
Happy B-Day Kevin. I agree completely with your & Mark Nash' remarks on the community and the difference with the trad soc media.
Thank you! Being here is a refreshing change.
A little off topic, but epsiode 131 of your show is fantastic.

Thank you and likewise, Professor! One day at a time indeed.

Best in the universe? I'll take it! lol.
Seriusly, thank you for that--and for including me in the Salon Du Monde project.
Well, in the known universe, so don’t let it go to your head.
Thank you!
Mustard wishes On Repeat Records a happy 3rd birthday!! Thank you for all you do.
Kevin says thank you and is happy you're here.
