You've definitely listened to more EPs than I have this year. Another great thing about Twenty Summers is that Depeche Mode cover at the end. I probably should have had Dazy on my list too, but I missed them when they came out and am still catching up. I thought about putting The Second Summer on my list, but that might be classified as an album instead, so I left it off.
Like with Justin, you listened to more EP's than me. "No More Hiding" by The Wanderer Edit really grabbed my attention this year, and I would go so far as to say that it's my favorite record that I listened to this year.
There are a bunch in here that I still need to check out and a few that are in my wish list that I still need to buy - more great music out there than time and money allow. Thanks as always for highlighting great tunes.
Happy New Year from Vancouver, BC, Kevin (where we are seeing in the New Year)! If you do find something culturally worthwhile in Vancouver, WA, I will be curious to know what it is! Joking, of course, with the obligatory PDX snobbish banter against that side of the greater metro. 😉
Thanks for the tip on Fleur - heading for my collection soon! Sydney's Itchy and the Nits released their debut on Total Punk records this year. "The Worst Of Itchy And The Nits" is well worth hunting down before it disappears
Fleur! Love it. Like others here, I'm sort of flabbergasted at how much music you've listened to. Ok, here's one that has to be on the list: Koiai "Come See Me" Fantastically talented young band doing original jazz-rock songs. https://open.spotify.com/album/1lUJmz7vQuusZtfnImQxxN

It was a nice surprise for sure! Did not have that cover on my bingo card.
"Twenty Summers" had me instantly.
This made my morning, Sherman. Thanks.

The breadth and quality of what you do is nothing short of incredible.
Thank you, Rocco!
Thank you so much, Kevin! It's truly an honor and I'm thrilled that you like the EP and my new direction.
Of course! It’s a great record!

Really liked that Royal Scene one. I listened to it running errands today.
I'm happy to hear it!
