I listened to some of this earlier in the week! Loved what I heard - got distracted when I listened to Mediterranean X Film because I wanted to know who the female singer was! Hahahaha. Is it also Rachel Conti? I knew Hope Sandoval had worked with them before, so I went down a rabbit hole and never got back to listening to the new album 😆
I’ve been busy with work and travel lately so haven’t giving the album enough of a listen but I really enjoyed the singles leading up to the release and have liked what I’ve heard of the album so far.
I saw TJAMCH twice. Back in 1988, at the World in NYC, they played 17 glorious songs. We thought the floor would collapse below us; the Sturm und Drang was unprecedented for such a volatile venue. I caught up with them 20 years later at a more staid NYC venue, and again, they brought the house down. I'm glad they're still on top of their game, albeit challenging the band Suicide's tone on some of their new songs.
Thanks for the shout!
Of course!
Thanks for this Kevin. I'm looking forward to their Brussels show next month.
Should be a great show!
🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the nod Kevin!
Not sure how I missed your post for this! Gonna check it out today -- love Ted Leo!
Thanks Steve!
Anytime!

I belive it is. This are the best kind of rabbit holes!
Sounds old-fashioned, I suppose in a good way. Excellent sleeve design!
Definitely in a good way, IMO.
I didn't know they'd been working on a new album either! Super excited to listen to it....and the backlog of new releases to play grows and grows....
Lol. Right?
Thanks, Kev in for the mention of my debut album "
the Quiver!!!!"

I saw them not too long after you (90? 91?), and it was incredible.
Thx for the shout out, Kevin!
