Well, I'll listen to anything once! Thanks for providing the track and SGT info! Not a fan of "Fall," and I'd never heard a note of SGT before. The song came out a year after I moved back to TX after 14 years in LA. Which leads me to MY Tower/Sunset story (about which I'm sure I've written somewhere on my 'Stack!). I moved from Houston to LA in 1/80, but spent a week or 2 summer of '79 to "case the joint"!
The week of the release of The Knack's debut (second week of June '79), I just happened to drop into Tower the very moment lead Knack-er, Doug Fieger (completely unannounced--not an advertised public appearance at all) was there admiring the store's newly-constructed end-cap display: Hundreds of Knack LPs neatly displayed completely surrounding drummer, Bruce Gary's, actual drum kit!
I recognized Doug, and we chatted briefly, but it never occurred to me to ask for an autograph or get a picture taken! But, it was one of the many things that happened to me that one week that made it crystal clear to me: I've GOT to move here!
Nice! Having made a LOT of those displays for a music store I worked in, I would’ve loved to have had an artist actually come in and see one! Of course, we never had anything as cool as a drum set, but still…
This WAS Hollywood, and he was likely in the neighborhood, anyway, but also meeting Rodney Bingenheimer and Kim Fowley on the Strip @ night in front of the Roxy (I mean, it was just like a "Hit Pararader" mag come to life)....I HAD to move there!! Still, YOU must have some stories from your display-building days, Kevin!

It’s so-so for me. A pleasant discovery, but not quite my cup of tea. That’s why I’m here--to find the next big track for my library!
The next one could be your new favorite! 😎
Nice track. I like its psychedelic vibe ✨ It feels 6/10 to me
