Thanks as always Kevin, you drew me in with the Buzzcocks covers as one of my own projects covered two of their songs (in 22, so beat The Routes to it!). Love their version of Love Will Tear us Apart... And that new Joan Armatrading could pass for a bunch of 20-somethings. Wow. That said, the video is brilliant, until the very end, which is a disappointing conclusion (albeit probably closer to real-life than anything else it could have offered). Only have to check out Band With Appalling Name and I'll have collected the set. You short-list it, we listen to it!
That Routes album is fantastic and love their twist on the songs. Also looking forward to the Librarians With Hickies album as I have their previous album and heard the single and it's great 👍
Love to hear Joan Armatrading name checked!
Armatrading is a real survivor.

I need to check out the Armatrading disc.

You and Marc Fagel have both recommended Librarians With Hickeys this week. Guess I need to check the album out.
I hope you dig it! It found it via Norman Weatherly’s blog, and then kept seeing it pop up in my own feeds.
