Can't believe Dusty took on Walk On The Wild Side and succeeded! That's one of those songs that was so perfectly recorded it's hard to imagine any other way. Even some of Lou Reed's live performances were a bit ropy. So kudos - and will listen more to find if he has the Wright stuff. Dancer might work, too - found the vocals off-putting at first but then it seemed to settle in so will try more. Cheers.
I actually skipped that track on my first run through, as I was concerned it would skewer my thoughts on the rest of the record. Turns out that concern was misplaced. Dancer (and Current Affairs) definitely fit into the "get better the more you listen" category for me.
Cannot wait to get stuck into these tonight!
There was a little bit of everything here, so I hope you found a new favorite or two!

Very cool - learned a new word - “Glaswegian”. Also now I gotta hear the cover take on Paul Revere and the Raiders!
Let me know what you think!
Interesting, but revisiting the Paul R version took me back to Junior High and I may just stay there for awhile….
Heck yeah! Dancer and Mythical Motors! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Yes! Really digging both of these releases!
