Good Morning!
Today we’re listening to “She Sheila” by The Producers
The Producers are a power pop band from Atlanta Georgia. Originally formed as a Beatles cover band, the group quickly shifted to performing their own material becoming stars in the region. They signed to (CBS subsidiary) Portrait records, releasing two albums; The Producers, and 1982’s You Make The Heat.
After touring extensively, they released a 3rd record on their own label in 1987. They signed with MCA, but were released following a reorganization at the label, and self-released a 4th record.
After going their separate ways, they reunited and are occasionally performing again.
More:
Bassist Kyle Henderson left the band, moved to Madison Wisconsin, and started putting out Christian rock (they’ve since reunited). He shifted to blues, and in 2014 performed a set for WPR’s 30-Minute Music Hour.

Nice one! It has a hint of Modern Love by David Bowie in it, I thought.
I was expecting Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder....
