Your article title obviously suggests that eternal classic by the Isley Brothers. I'd vouch for that and anything else they did.

Fun! Looking forward to adding something! We have a Spotify collaborative playlist for our Open Fire on Thursday Nights and it’s so fun to be like, “Cool song! Who added that?”

I'm a big Taylor Swift fan. Have been for a while. Since long ago when "everyone" maligned her talent and abilities - https://www.thestreet.com/investing/stocks/i-have-seen-the-next-bruce-springsteen-and-her-name-is-taylor-swift-12015399

These are my suggestions:

Bruce Springsteen - Tougher Than The Rest

Van Morrison - Into The Mystic

(The link to collaboration doesn’t seem to work)

Thanks for the heads up! I think (?) it's fixed now, but I added both of these in just in case. I also never miss a chance to say that I think "Tunnel Of Love" is Springsteen's best record.

With a focus on filling the dance floor in celebration, and getting the kids and grandparents alike in on the action, I'm going more lively with three tracks: Shake it Off - Taylor Swift; Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) - Beyonce; Hey Ya! - Outkast. Party anthems that get groove thangs in motion.

I would add to this vibe:

- Raise Your Glass (Pink)

- Firework (Katy Perry)

- Everybody Ona Move (Michael Franti)

- Callin’ On Sunday (Party Ben)

Great idea! I excitedly went to my wedding playlists (had one for dinner, cocktails, and dancing) and picked out some good ones/bangers:

At some point you have to play Alison Krauss’s version of “When You Say Nothing At All.” My wife and I chose it for our wedding song and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. We’re still married 25 years later.

Keeper of the Stars- Tracy Byrd. If you went to any country weddings in the 90's, this was everywhere. Gorgeous lovely ballad.

If it was a relationship that started when the couple was young then Check Yes or No by George Strait is a classic.

For meme/dancing songs, Boot Scooting Boogie (Brooks and Dunn) and Bop (Dan Seals) are classic roll your eyes then join in the line dance songs.
