Fun! Looking forward to adding something! We have a Spotify collaborative playlist for our Open Fire on Thursday Nights and it’s so fun to be like, “Cool song! Who added that?”
Thanks for the heads up! I think (?) it's fixed now, but I added both of these in just in case. I also never miss a chance to say that I think "Tunnel Of Love" is Springsteen's best record.
With a focus on filling the dance floor in celebration, and getting the kids and grandparents alike in on the action, I'm going more lively with three tracks: Shake it Off - Taylor Swift; Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) - Beyonce; Hey Ya! - Outkast. Party anthems that get groove thangs in motion.
At some point you have to play Alison Krauss’s version of “When You Say Nothing At All.” My wife and I chose it for our wedding song and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. We’re still married 25 years later.
Your article title obviously suggests that eternal classic by the Isley Brothers. I'd vouch for that and anything else they did.
I would too. I added it!
One of these days, one of us will convince you to write about music. And it's gonna be glorious.
"I knew the Bride when She Used to Rock 'n Roll" by Nick Lowe
YES!
Clapton- “Wonderful Tonight”
Frampton- “Baby I Love Your Way”
Marvin Gaye- “How Sweet It Is”
Beatles- “Two of Us”
I almost forgot...Van Morrison “Tupelo Honey”, one of the best long songs of all time
I hadn't heard that in years, and whoo! It's good.
Clapton- “Wonderful Tonight” was the first one that came to my mind
Wonderful Tonight gives me high school boyfriend vibes! 😂
Angel Eyes - Healy or Hiatt
Thing Called Love - Bonnie Raitt
Cover Me Up, If We Were Vampires, and Letting You Go - Isbell
Nice suggestions
Had to go with Hiatt. I don't make the rules.

If I Should Fall Behind - Brice Springsteen and The E Street Band
Say Yes - Elliott Smith
New Years Day - Taylor Swift
I did not expect a Taylor Swift recommendation from Rocco!
I'm a big Taylor Swift fan. Have been for a while. Since long ago when "everyone" maligned her talent and abilities - https://www.thestreet.com/investing/stocks/i-have-seen-the-next-bruce-springsteen-and-her-name-is-taylor-swift-12015399
Me either, but I'm here for it!
These are my suggestions:
Bruce Springsteen - Tougher Than The Rest
Van Morrison - Into The Mystic
(The link to collaboration doesn’t seem to work)

I would add to this vibe:
- Raise Your Glass (Pink)
- Firework (Katy Perry)
- Everybody Ona Move (Michael Franti)
- Callin’ On Sunday (Party Ben)
Here we go!
If you want to get the crowd dancing then John Paul Young's - Love Is In The Air is a must.
I'm on it! Added!
Great idea! I excitedly went to my wedding playlists (had one for dinner, cocktails, and dancing) and picked out some good ones/bangers:

This whole list was awesome. Thank you!
Thank you! Great idea, the playlist is becoming pretty epic.

Added! It's a beautiful song.
Buddy Holly “True Love Ways”
Added!
Keeper of the Stars- Tracy Byrd. If you went to any country weddings in the 90's, this was everywhere. Gorgeous lovely ballad.
If it was a relationship that started when the couple was young then Check Yes or No by George Strait is a classic.
For meme/dancing songs, Boot Scooting Boogie (Brooks and Dunn) and Bop (Dan Seals) are classic roll your eyes then join in the line dance songs.
I went to a few during "wedding season," and heard these more than once. Classics!
